I would like to change the layout of the index page of our installation -- include our own logo, remove the list of current surveys, add a little text. Things like that. Alas, the online documentation I've found so far seems quite out of sync with the state of the software. The menus it claims I need to use don't even exist, and I have been unable to find ones that seem to fulfill  the same functions. 

Where can I either configure the start page, or at least what template do I need to change in order to have the start page to the entire installation appear somewhat more like I expect it to?

Oh, this will certainly motivate Tpartner (one of the most valuable contributors in this forum that has helped many people with their problems in the past).

Double posts are generally not well perceived, because it can cause double the work (someone might answer a question that has actually already been answered somewhere else).
