Hi all

At work we'll install a new instance of LS 5 and the infrastructure team ask me if they need to install Postgres Entreprise or Community edition ?

Can someone advice me which version is the best to use ?

PostGres is not often used here. I personally don't use PG with LimeSurvey, but you can be sure that the community edition will fulfill the requirements.

But be warned, that LimeSurvey is having issues from time to time with MS SQL and PostGres. Most testing is done with MySQL/MariaDB.

That's quite bad news since, at work, our ICT partner is asking us to use PG wherever possible.

So, to avoid any problem (thanks for the warning), I'll try to force Mysql for LS.

As they just ask you to use it "wherever possible", it is not that bad news. Just say it is not possible.
