Urgent, I think someone put up the 4 beta files for the Version 3.17.8 downloads was created by jghansen
I have wasted 4 hours of updates only to find that you idiots may of packaged the wrong version on the downloads page.

There is no need to insult the people at Limesurvey.org like that! They're only human, mistakes can happen (I know only too well).

yep, it seems the packages are wrong.
use the comfortUpdate to avoid those kind of problems in the future.

And the developers are "wasting" god knows how many hours every day to provide you with Limesurvey for free. Nice one. You are my hero!
Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Sorry for the inconvenience : we're currently automating the release process to avoid human mistakes, and doing so we did a human mistake...

Anyway: always backup files + db before updating.
