ExpressionScript (which is the former ExpressionManager) will not change in LS4?
I wonder how many bugs and hours of debugging are caused by the JS vs. PHP validation stuff.
How are other web-applications solving this? The amount of time digging through the code and debugging bugs like this

cannot be prevented by a groundbreaking change?
Personnal opinion here : it working like attended before, updated with «fixing» an unknow situation.
Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.

What about releasing a freezed LS4 alpha for testing and open demo4.limesurvey.org with weekly updates. That would allow collecting more feedback from different users types.
