Images don't appear (except Safari)

Hello,

In my survey I have 6 conditions and I show each of them a different picture. While the images show in Safari without any problem, they don't appear in Chrome, Firefox or Explorer. What may be the problem? (I uploaded the images from my computer, I didn't use an URL).

This is very vague of an description. It could be anything and nothing.

How and where did you upload the images to Limesurvey? FTP? GUI - if so where in the GUI? How and where did you implement them into your survey?

And very important: What is the version of your installation?

Can you also export a copy of your survey (only with the relevant questions) as LSS file and upload it here, so we can have a look at the code?

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Thank you for your response.

I upload the images using KCFinder. I implemented them into "Text display" questions and used a randomization code. I don't know how to do it with FTP or GUI.

The version is 2.58.0 + 170104.

I'm uploading the code file.

Hi,
obviously these browsers do not display an pdf file as img.

But you may use this:
Code:
<div class="embed-responsive" style="padding-bottom:110%">
<object data="/survey/upload/surveys/439833/images/FEMALE_CONTROL.pdf" type="application/pdf" height="100%" width="100%"></object>
</div>

From "stackoverflow":
and set the padding bottom as the height divided by the width plus a little extra for toolbars. For example, to display an 8.5 by 11 PDF, use 130% (11/8.5) plus a little extra (20%).

Or better:
Convert the pdfs to png or jpg.

You were talking about pictures, not PDFs...
