So I had a quick chat with one of the developers and according to him in LS5 this should work.
I really hope the fix will also be added to LS 3.x. It should not be that complex to add and LS 3.x is still the LTS version. 

Did they mention any details why this should not get added to 3.x?

I can't really remember. But it was quite definite. I also don't expect LS 3 to be LTS for a lot longer. I expect it to be dropped any time. LS5 is fairly stable and LS6 is on the way.

I have upgraded Limesurvey to LS5. Unfortunately, it didn't resolve the problem, so I created a ticket, #11719 to explain the problem. I hope the number is enough to identify the ticket.

I have upgraded Limesurvey to LS5. Unfortunately, it didn't resolve the problem, so I created a ticket, #11719 to explain the problem. I hope the number is enough to identify the ticket.
 
I can't find that ticket at  bugs.limesurvey.org/view_all_bug_page.php . Typo?

So created a support ticket, not a bug report. If you are not a paying customer of Limesurvey Cloud, the ticket will not have any effect. Support tickets are only for paying customers of their SaaS platform.

In any way, you should create a bug report at bugs.limesurvey.org

I'm sorry I messed it up. However, I have received a message by the support team that there will be a release related to GA4 next week.
Maybe it is better to wait until next week or I should create the bug ticket now?

If you got a message from them that there will be a release next week, I don't think a bug report is not necessary.

Did they say for which version the release would come?

For LS 5. The person who wrote to me even said that there is a release for LS3 already.

Hopefully this will be fixed for LS 5.x and also 3.x.
