==================
Hello LS!
I am trying to follow the translation guidelines by using Excel or LibreOffice which fails to save correctly.  I am able to export the tab separated file .txt successfully, open Excel, open the txt file with TSV, and UTF-8 selection. When I save it, with no changes, and import the file into LS, it fails with adding Array or fail all together.

Please would someone assist me with this?  I have 5 languages to translate, and it is taking hours with the translation tool.

Thank you all,
philemmons

Excel is usually not a good option to use. I am not using TSV, but I would definitely tro with LibreOffice rather than Excel. I don't think that Excel works well with text based files. It is already causing problems with CSV files.

Here is an update on how to export and import TSV file with  Version 3.28.54  .  Export as normal, open LibreOffice Calc, drag file into Calc, click OK to UTF-8 format, highlight the relevance column, right click and select column width, resize it to two. While the column is still highlighted, select find and replace, type Array, click match case, and click find all. This will give you the number of 'Array' words that have to be deleted. Highlight the column once again, selecting find and replace, type in Array, and match case should be selected.  Replace All  the 'Array' with nothing.  Save the file, exit LibreOffice, and the file will import properly back into Limesurvey.

I have used this multiple times with translations, and works like a charm.

I never have to remove Array word in TSV export.

I just delete the 1st to columns used only for quota.

If there are issue in this part and you can se=nd a LSS file to reproduce : please report.
If lss file exported didn't reproduce : just report.
