Hello,

I was wondering, if I do not enter a value in the maximum characters input setting for the multiple short text question, will it be unlimited? If not, would anyone know how I would go about making it unlimited?

I have searched the manuals and the forums about this but could not find an answer.

it is obvious that you can't make it "unlimited".
Keep in mind that there is a database where you have to store it.
In the database (MySQL) these question types are implemnted as data type "TEXT".  (64kB)

You also have to consider that Unicode characters may use more than 1 byte

You can ask (maybe) to LimeSurey GMBH support to set it to long text
