The default NAS video sharing method is not working in LS, and I have a teamwork flow, best to use LS only in one platform, and that's why we choose LS originally.

I just think it is a bug.
Many users like me are facing frustration in the same circumstance.
 
And many more user don't have issue with uploader …
Again : «you have the information, not us.x

Then : at minima : answer to the 2 questions i ask.

If developers can not reproduce the issue, it is almost impossible to fix it.

Your environment is quite "special" and I doubt that anyone else here has the same setup to check.

For better understanding my version is 5.1.11+210920.

Are you still on this version or have you updated in the meanwhile? If not, I would suggest to update to the latest version and see if you can reproduce. It does not make sense to discuss potential bugs on a version that has received 7 updates by now (currently we are at 5.1.18).

If they problem persists on the most recent install, please answer the questions you received from Denis.
Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Hi DenisChenu，

For the question 1:
I have chage code in /application/config/config.php  
Code:

)

Then I operated the survey and tried to upload a video. The KC finder is still frozen, you can see all the buttons, but nothing happens when you press them. And all the form is blank.

So, how can I get the bug report then? Thanks for your help. I realize LS is a project that needs a code-understand based.

For the question 2:
Could you explain it a little more? “session issue”？what is it, and where can I check it? I am a newbie for LS. Sorry for that.

Still frozen : please activate console , on firefox : F12, and see if you have an error, if yes click on the little button to show it

Session : check on console too (see screenshot)

And tell us how your session is managed (see phpinfo in global settings)

I have update the LS to 5.1.18; the issue remains the same. I have tried the method in this posts:

I think my problem is quite similar to it. I put Limesurvey in a web station environment, which put WordPress site as well. But the port for the site is not standard 80 or 443. or I used the reverse proxy. Both of them may cause the problem.

I tried to change the disable attribute from true to false. But the problem is still there. I notice the post is over ten years old and maybe not work for the new LS.

That's all I tried and thought for now; I have searched other users who install LS in NAS have the same issue. I guess this debug is necessary for all the NAS users.

There are somlething with invalid domain ?
1st time i see it …

Maybe try to update some session parameters ?

Is it because I use the special port number? instead of standard 80 or 443?
I can give you an admin role for LS or any other access to fix this issue, I think it will help others also.

443 is the default port for https.
If you use https : you don't need it to force 443.

Maybe KC_FINDER didn't allow/know example.org:443 for domain.
