SPPS .dat file: Column Offset was created by blocka
I'm running LS 3.25.22+210413
When I export my response data to SPPS (both version options), the columns are mismatched (data gets pushed out in some rows).
From what I can tell, it is occurring where I have Other type questions, and the participant included a comma in their text:

Where Other text has a commas, the SPSS data gets split between two columns:

This looks like a bug to me... Has anyone else encountered this?

Hi, blocka,
Seeing your EXCEL file there are still the single quotes around the text.
Seems to me that the qualifier is wrong.
What is set as DELIMITER and QUALIFIER in the sps-file?

If we compare with the settings in "application/helpers/export_helper.php"
maybe we can see where there is the bug.

In my .SPS file, this is what I have for delimiters:
Code:
GET DATA
/TYPE=TXT
/FILE='survey_167811_SPSS_data_file.dat'
/DELCASE=LINE
/DELIMITERS=","
/QUALIFIER="'"
/ARRANGEMENT=DELIMITED
/FIRSTCASE=1
/IMPORTCASE=ALL
/VARIABLES=
