Thanks for creating the video demonstration. But to be honest, I don't think anyone will be able to follow this. Far too quick. You present the huge text at the beginning in 2 seconds. Who is supposed to read this in 2 seconds? The same for the next few screens, moving far too quick. People will have to stop the video every 2 seconds to see where you are and what you are doing.

Don't get me wrong, the effort is appreciated, I just don't think that it will help much. So either you take your time and show every screen for a reasonable amount of time or you'd rather create a tutorial with screenshots and text, in my opinion.

Hi holch,

sorry for that, I meant to be nice. The video was meant to be an additional help to my description here www.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-this-w...spss-sav-file#198759 and I did think by pausing everyone can have his own pace.
When I try to convert the video to a gif (which would respect framelength) it would be 56 MB.

So I created a PDF with the most important frames - I hope that's sufficient :-)

And as I daid, I do appreciate that very much. It was just so quick everything. Yes, of course everyone can pause, but I probably would skip to something else. But maybe this is just me. In any way, I did not want to give you the feeling that your effort wasn't appreciate it. We actually need more of it.

I rather wanted to give some feedback to the video and on how to improve it.

And I would actually recommend to upload it to Youtube, because you'll get a broader audience, because someone might actually search for Limesurvey there and it might actually appear in the Google search results when someone is looking for the problem.

In any way, thank you for contributing to the project.

Hi holch,

totally agreed. Don't worry, I took it as feedback - and feedback is a present from someone to get better. I really thank you for that.
I uploaded it to youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGR3gsTwxa0

take care and stay healthy

Hi - I know this is an old thread but just letting you know I've implemented a plugin to do this:

github.com/adamzammit/ExportSPSSsav

I've also requested this be included in the next major version of LimeSurvey.
