Hey sifnakaii, this may not be the answer to your issue, but I found that the error was caused by having a "survey alias" that already existed somewhere on LimeSurvey's data base.

What worked for me: make the survey alias for the survey you're trying to copy blank. Go to survey settings --> text elements --> survey alias text box.
