Olá, boa tarde,

Estou com a seguinte situação:

Tenho uma pergunta que possui uma validação, e preciso que após 3 tentativas (3 cliques no botão de avançar) sem sucesso, a entrevista seja finalizada.

Consigo fazer através de uma pergunta do tipo "fórmula", ou precisa ser através de script?

Não vejo como isso poderia ser feito por uma "fórmula" (Equation). Se for possivel, provavelmente tem que ser por Javascript.
