I am using the updateTokenByResponse plugin from Denis.  I have had it work in the past (3 months ago) but can't figure out why it won't work now.  The survey is getting the data from the participants list, including the custom fields.  I have built a small survey with 2 questions, basically the same.  Name uses the standard {firstname} token field and Question uses Attribute_1.  I set the default values to {TOKEN:FIRSTNAME} and  {TOKEN:ATTRIBUTE_1} and that part works.  But, when I enter new data in the field it is not being updated in the participant list.

The name QCODE is firstname and I have {firstname} in the plug-in configuration. The question QCODE is Q1 and I have  {Q1}  in the plug-in configuration.  The response data shows the input text, but the attribute field in the participant DB is not updated.

I have the survey set as follows:
1. non-anonymous
2. created 2 dummy participants, with ATTRIBUTE_1 data
3. Enable participant-based response persistence: = ON
4. Allow to update the responses using the access code = ON

I've attached the LSS file.  I'm sure it's something simple that I've missed, but I can't find it.  Thanks for your help.

Thanks, Denis. That's what I was missing. It is working better now; I still have some work to do, but that got me past that problem. Greatly appreciate it.

After Denis showed the config screen, I recognized it, but couldn't remember where to find it.  For others, like me, who can't remember things well:

The configuration to UPDATE the Participant record after the response is submitted, is under Participant Settings and then Tools -> Token update.

Tools menu is the same on any survey settings.

A feature can be add it (the link) in Survey plugin settings. More access is always good.
Don't have a solution to add it in particpant edit directly currently/
