FWIW We ran into the same issue.  We were running PHP 8.1 and Limesurvey 5.3.12.

To fix I downgraded to PHP 8.0.

I'm going to do an upgrade of Limesurvey to latest (when I have sometime) and then try PHP 8.1 to see if I run into the same issue.

In these cases I highly recommend to have a look into the post (e.g. via "edit"). This is spam with a hidden link.

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Yeah, there have been a few hidden links lately, especially hidden with comma, dots, colon, etc because you hardly see that it is a different color.
