On a Dutch group discussing statistics a person asked about Fluidsurveys. I responded that I only use LimeSurvey and if she knew the differences.
She pointed me to:

where 198 survey software programs are discussed. Quite a lot, but there must be more, since LimeSurvey is not on that list.
Is any of the gurus knowledgable about this? Does it do any harm?

It's evident that commercial companies are doing a lot to promote their softwares and are spending money for that unlike open-source projects does or can. If it arms? In my opinion, probably yes but less than
this kind of admin page
LimeSurvey (.org) can register an account on Capterra , and maybe make a little advertize. But better All user of LimeSurvey who offer services with LS can make an account on Capterra and make a page for their own services
