Testing LimeSurvey to roll out across the organisation but cant seem to successfully activate the survey. Questions are setup, test works fine (the survey is as it should be) but the moment I click execute and then save/activate it doesn't seem to work. Going to the survey properties page and clicking on the link provided leads to an error page:

This survey is no longer available.
Please contact Administrator for further assistance.
Any help with this will be really appreciated. Thank you.

Does activation fully fail? Is there an error message when activating the survey?

The link works fine here, can you activate it for temporarily testing in active mode?
Did you test clearing your cache or test using another browser?
