I saw a similar complaint in the forum last week and now it happened to me.

I tried to install two different (responsive) templates and I always get similar but different error message at the end:

As more or less the same problem appears for two different templates, I think it might actually not be a problem with the templates, but rather with the latest Limesurvey installation?

What do you guys think?

Did you try copying and then exporting and importing one of the shipped templates?

No I didn't. Good idea.

Did it with the default template and no error message.

What is strange is that the system complains about a missing startpage.pstpl, but there is definitely one. It actually imported it...

Could be just a misleading error message. Maybe template.js is not placed directly at the root folder but at /js or another template subfolder?!

What surprises me is that a similar error comes up at a template from Denis (Skeleton). Will have to research a little.

But it's just an information, if the template are not in a subdirectory, you just have to add {TEMPLATEJS} in startpage.pstpl manually.

Some times ago, with an old template version, i put template.js call at endpage.pstpl.
