I had limesurvey setup and working correctly on my old server, I recently moved server and now limesurvey just keeps giving me admin loop even when the information is correct.
Error log gives me no information, turning on errors via php.ini or config.php gives me no further information.
I have looked at the other threads that have a similar problem but this doesn't help me progress.
There could be many possible problems. I would guess it is a database problem. Maybe deleting the admin account manually in the database and include a new password can help, but I am not sure. Maybe someone more knowledgable than me can help.
I usually prefer to do clean setups because you never know what could go wrong once you move an old installation to a new server, especially with different configurations.
Help us to help you!
Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
I've not worked with Limesurvey (didn't even know it was within the files when moving the site). I'm trying to find the correct fields in the database but if I edit lime_users email then try forgotten password it says it couldn't find the username/email.

What does "returned" mean? Does it mean that out of a sudden the login is broken again?
Which Limesurvey version do you currently use?

I was able to login without any issues at the start of December, I returned this week to try and login again to make some changes when the same problem started happening again.
I'm afraid were I'm new to limesurvery as well I don't know how to check the version which login access.
If this happens out of a sudden the only issue I can think of is some changes at the server backend. Maybe session data isn't stored properly anymore or something like this.
Please contact your sysadmin and ask them for help.
