I have just started using Limesurvey. I'm running Version 2.05+ Build 141003 (updated today) on a shared server hosted at Dreamhost.
I have created my first survey and sent invitations to two email addresses but neither email arrived at the recipient. They are not in the spam folders. I have Limesurvey configured to send email using PHP. I have been able to send email using PHP in a Wordpress installation I have on the same server.
Next to the participants' tokens, Limesurvey says the emails have been sent.
Can anyone suggest what I should do next to find out why emails are not going?
I find that mailing via PHP is always tricky. I personally would send emails via SMTP, especially as you can better control everything and you can receive error messages to the email address that sends the emails.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
