Hello

I've installed Limesurvey successfully on my Mac.
I've now uploaded it to a Linux Webserver with Mysql running on another server (hosted at OVH).
The only modifications I have done to the mac installation is to change config.php to connect to the production database.
I have used phpmyadmin/import to import data from the local Mac environment.

When I try to access the admin screen with this command :

www.limesurvey.pcpjv.com//index.php/admi...hentication/sa/login

I get the following screen :
Limesurvey
The following surveys are available
No available surveys
Please contact .......
etc

Czn you help me please ?

regards
peterosbif

You have to remove the config.php and redo the installation, it's better.

Actually we have "CDbConnection failed to open the DB connection.".

And with OVH, you have to set PHP to 5.3 : www.limesurvey.org/manual/LimeSurvey-com...ing_companies#France

Hi Denis

10/10 for you - thank you for your help.

I followed all your instructions - removing the config.php file seemed to be the key ?

kind regards
Peter

Yes, and not.

The key is to reinstall (eventually with the same DB).
