What is your question? LimeSurvey supports three different databases. You can open a bug ticket but don't forget to mention what database you use. If you want to ask other users about their migration experience you better post more information about the database software and exact version / build here.

I recommend to check the minimum requirements for LS 7.0 first.

@parsikartheek, I am interested to hear...
a) what the exact error message is?
b) which DBMS your are using
c) if you can re-start the DB update manually

Furthermore, are there any hints at the server's error logs?

Your feedback may help updating our LimeSurvey 7 Migration summary at survey-consulting.com/limesurvey-7-migration/

Hello!
We have/had the same problem.
Updated with ComfortUpdate to version 7.11 and the database migration told us a 500 error.
Our configuration is
MariaDB --> 11.8.6
PHP --> 8.4.21
So, we had to "rollback" to version 6.17.17 with the files and the website is back online. Otherwise, we always got the site for the database migration.
Kind regards,
Klaus

@FHwebm01, in such cases try enabling the debug mode at config.php under /limesurvey/application/config. It may reveal further details which would be very helpful to track down the problem.
