LimeSurvey CE Installation Errors was created by Testperson20052025
LimeSurvey version: 6.14.0
Own server
==================
Hello everyone,I have rented a web host and intended to install LimeSurvey CE on it. I extracted the files on the web host and created a PostgreSQL database. I was able to access the website and successfully create the necessary tables in the database to install LimeSurvey.

However, whe log in to the site using the admin credentials, I receive the following error message:

400: Bad Request - The CSRF token could not be verified. The request could not be understood by the server due to malformed syntax. Please do not repeat the request without modifications. If you think this is a server error, please contact the administrator.

After refreshing the page, I encounter another error message:

500: Internal Server Error - Call to undefined function php_uname(). An internal error occurred while the web server was processing your request. Please contact the administrator to report this problem.I would greatly appreciate any assistance, as I am truly at a loss as to what to do next. Thank you for your help!

Perhaps your hosting space has limited php version and function support. I recommend to check the php.ini of the running php version.

Create a simple phpinfo php file to display the settings of your running php version. Or ask the support of your hostingprovider about the limits.

You can access PHPinfo from the configuration global settings page.

You can access PHPinfo from the configuration global settings page.

Not sure the infopage can be reached with such error messages directly after a login.

If you cannot reach the function you would need to create a php page and upload it to the webspace.

It's not uncommon that php_uname() is disabled by hosting providers. Use phpinfo() to see which functions have been disabled.
