Hi.

Managed to import a sample survey.. Trying to "Activate" it so I can run/test the survey. I'm missing something.

Can't seem to find the "exact" steps/items to select in the right order to "activate/test" the survey.   i'm getting a msg -- " This survey is currently not active. You will not be able to save your responses. "

thanks

Hi,
again I ask:
Why do you always open a new thread on the same subject instead of continuing an existing one?
And always in different sections?

Answers to your questions you find in the manual:
To test yourself, no need to activate
www.limesurvey.org/manual/Testing_a_survey/en

To activate
www.limesurvey.org/manual/Activating_a_survey/en

The GUI may look a bit different, but that shouldn't be a problem.
Thousands and thousands of students were able to create a survey, test, activate and run it.

Hi Joffm.

For the url:
198.211.116.12/limesurvey/index.php/surv...tings/surveyid/14272

I see the "Activate" and the "Preview"...

Weird. I selected the Activate again, and got a dropdown. Selecting/Saving, then generates the test "Survey"..

Weird. So there was something I was missing.

thanks

Now, to figure out how to "change" the test survey, and re run it..

simple/basic things.

thanks
