Privacy policy check box not mandatory was created by aukevann
We just found out today that our GDPR check box is not mandatory. Users can simply ignore it, while in the description of the configuration page it says 'mandatory checkbox'. I can't find a way to configure this differently, what am I missing? See the attachment for the configuration.

My version is  Version 5.6.38+230919

It works as expected in version 5.6.60. I suggest updating to the latest version and retesting.

Thanks Tony. Do you know if this was a known issue? Its quite a bit of work to upgrade my live site, as I need to first create a demo site and test quite a few things.

No, I don't know.

Maybe check the release notes - github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/ma...cs/release_notes.txt

Also, I would check the console (F12) for JavaScript errors.

Cheers,
Tony Partner

It took a while to get my installation upgraded, but now it is and the issue is still there. What would be a next step to pursue?
