New install using Ionos hosting - configuring email to use SMTP and receiving the error: Email sending failure: SMTP connect() failed.
Using domain-specific email address and SMTP server, port 587, with Ionos-provided email address as "from."
SSL/TLS enabled.
connect failed can happen for multiple reason : ssl issue, bad url, server disable outbound conection …
Activate debug mode, activate smtp debug mode, check your server log
