Hi,

I have a question about Limesurvey 5 and PHP.
I can see in your roadmap that LS5 will be supported until May 2024. www.limesurvey.org/manual/LimeSurvey_roa...st_release:_May_2021
And on the Download page i see that LS5 supports up to PHP 8.0. community.limesurvey.org/downloads/

My question:
Is PHP 8.1 also be supported by LS5?
As PHP 8.0 is EOL November 2023, i see a security issue to run my installation with PHP 8.0 until May 2024.

5.5.2 in production with php 8.1 seems to work
but also consider recommendations by Denis Chenis:

"Nobody can tell you it's OK to update.
Even big company like Facebook, Google or Cloudfare have downtime.

Create a post production instance (same server, same system, same DB etc …) and test, test , test and test again."

May 2024 is basically over... Time to upgrade.
