Hi, I have cases where I need to set up limesurvey fresh on a different server; after that I need to set up various things all over again (plugins, themes, global settings, import a test survey etc.)
Can I just dump the whole database from an installation, which is set up correctly into a new limesurvey installation?
Yes you can. However, plugins and themes require files. So your custom themes and plugins need to be copied to the next server as well. But if you basically make a copy of your current installation, move it to another server and install it with a copy of the database, you should be fine.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
