I'm using version 6.0 CE and wanted to upgrade to ver 6.1 CE
I followed these instructions:

but I lose all the extensions of the previously made themes with the various links to the images.

Following the instructions in the manual, I think it's normal to lose the theme extensions as I delete everything.
I also tried to overwrite the new version with the old one and the extended themes remain but without any features and are not editable.

where am i wrong?

In the manual there are some files and directories to keep instead of delete everything.
Do me this sounds more like bugs in LimeSurvey 6.1. You might wait a bit or post a bug report.

I tried keeping the directories described in the manual and everything works fine.

the problem is that I had read the directories to keep, in the upgrade part and there were no files so I thought about deleting everything, wrong.
