I yesterday downloaded the file "limesurvey5.4.15+221212.zip", unpacked and uploaded to webspace.
Everything works fine, but the Version number shown at the bottom of the pages is "Version 5.5.0+221219".

Any idea, what happend?

I guess it was some mistake when preparing the latest version. Or did you do a "comfort update" after the installation?

No, I couldn't use a ComfortUpdate, because there was not newer version as 5.5.0. - The version number was shown after a complete clean and new installation.

OK, then I guess the 5.5.0 already in the 5.4.15 folder... I wouldn't worry too much about that. Not ideal, but as long as it works.

You clould create a bug report if you want to, to let the developers know.

I had the same behavior. Wasn't very happy about this bug because I tested this 5.4.15 update in advance and then applied it to the production system a few days later. Then suddenly it was 5.5.0.

I think they have some sync or other process problems. About community.limesurvey.org/downloads/ you get currently no longer reliable downloads ;-(. I hope that this will improve again.

Currently, download of the latest files seems to work again. 5.5.2+230109 is available for download, just tested.
