Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: LimeSurvey Cloud Version 5.4.9
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: LimeSurvey hosting
Survey theme/template: Fruity

Hi,

I was wondering instead of making it so that the respondent has to check at least one box per row, how would I go about making it that they have to check one box per column?

I would do array but column but I need the checkbox layout.

Given the question code p125 and the x-scale subquestion codes p125a, p125b, p125c, something like this for the question validation equation:

Code:

count(that.p125.sq_p125a) > 0 
AND 
count(that.p125.sq_p125b) > 0 
AND 
count(that.p125.sq_p125c) > 0
