Uses Left Query was created by sjgarth
I note that for some of my participants the 'Uses left' number is -22 and -8. I was not expecting anything other than 1 or 0.
Does this mean that they completed the survey multiple times?

If I don't ask, I will end up looking more stupid than if I do ask.

This sounds weird. I wouldn't expect anything lower than zero either.

However, why did you not respond the basic questions that are asked when you start a new post?

Now I have to ask for example, which version of LImesurvey you are using.

Did you set the uses left yourself in the token table?

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

Sorry mate, I didn't think it would be a version issue.

Your LimeSurvey version: 5.3.19+220607
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: own server
Survey theme/template: default

I didn't set the 'Uses Left' myself, and I don't know where the token table is.
Sorry, i'm a newby at this.

In an attempt to see what was happening, I created a test survey and set the 'allow multiple responses to 'ON' and then used the token to access and vote a number of times. The 'Uses Left' counter did go to -3, so I have assumed that, in my real survey, I must have accidentally clicked 'allow multiple responses' to on by mistake.

If I don't ask, I will end up looking more stupid than if I do ask.

The token table is where you have your participants, or to make it easier: it is where you see the negative uses left. ;-)

OK, so this happened in version 5.x and a fairly recent one as well.

I must have accidentally clicked 'allow multiple responses' to on by mistake.

I guess this is a possible explanation. But I am not sure how to read this. At the end, was it on in your real survey?

Hi,
Unfortunately before I placed the query here I fiddled with the settings and then forgot what the settings were in the first place. I know, I'm an idiot.
Any how, I am now sure, after a few tests, that it was set to multiple votes allowed, and I am re-running the vote.
Thank you for your time, and sorry to waste it.
