==================
Hello everyone.This should be an easy question for you elaborate admins/users, but we cannot figure it out for several days now with testing and trial and error.

This question was initially posted in “Can I do this with LimeSurvey? –> Allow users to add other users to their created surveys? ” … but maybe it’s more of an install/setup problem than a general “Can I do …?” question as we already know that’s possible, we just cannot figure out HOW to configure the permissions to support what we want our users to be able to do. Should I delete the other topic?

We would like to automatically, by default, allow all our users—who log in with their LDAP account—to optionally add other users to their created surveys, and then be able to set permissions for those added users. The only way we found to enable this for user’s accounts was to give them superadmin permissions, which—of course—is not possible for us to do.

tl;dr How to set up user permissions to allow adding other users to their surveys, and how to have those permissions be configured automatically for new users first-time logging in with their LDAP credentials?

Very much looking forward to your advice, and kindest regards.

PS: We read through the manual sections Survey permissions and  Manage users but unfortunately no success, yet.

If this was not answered in the other forum section, no one has an answer. Please do not double-post, it wastes the time of the volunteers here.

Cheers,
