Inline editor does not work after update

Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: 5.3.8 (build: 220404)
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own
Survey theme/template: Any

After the last update (6/4/2022), the button "Edit" does not work to edit questions. I have to reload the page, after pressing the button. When the page has been reloaded, and after pressing the button again, the question is open for editing (no reloading activity is detected). However, it opens only in HTML mode for editing (see attachment). Impossible to activate the inline editor, whatever relevant settings I change (e.g. in global or personal settings), or no matter how many times I reload the page. It is strange that in my Windows server installation, this problem does not appear, and everything works fine. The problem appears in my Ubuntu installation:

Operating system: Linux elpida3.it.auth.gr 4.15.0-176-generic #185-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 29 17:40:04 UTC 2022 x86_64
Web server software: Apache

Is this a bug or do I need to change some settings after the last update?

I should add that the editor problem appears in all cases where text editing is needed, i.e., in editing the text elements of a survey, the data policy, etc.

Did you clear the asset cache?

Besides, when I press the button "Clear now" (Configuration/Global settings/Clear assets cache), the number in parentheses increases. Is this normal?

Anyway, I cleared the tmp/assets/ directory (except for the index.html file), using the site administration interface. Is there another cache I should clear?

OK, finally the problem was solved! I deleted the assets directories in the "tmp" directory, and the browser cache (several times). The functionality of the editor has been restored. Thanks for the advice.
