(Write here your question/remark)

Hello,

I would have two questions on a "multiple numerical input" type of question, I created a an example attached.

  1. Is it possible to move the labeling and numbering of the slider containers to the top of the question like a header? The tick marks can stay.
  2. How can I reduce the spacing between the sub-questions (slider container) to a minimum as I have 17 or more domains?
   I know that this could be better done using an array question but this is the only question with a 11-point scale in my survey, hence, it has to be different / a slider question.
Thank you very much for any help provided,

Best wishes,

Giulia

Replied by Joffm on topic multiple numerical input layout
My proposal:
1. Don't use the "ticks-array2". as you only use the left and right end of the scale.
Instead use the default settings with the pipe-symbol
question text|left|right

And in my opinion it is not necessary to repeat the part of the question.

2. Adapt the styling to your needs.
Here I changed this:
    .with-inserted-ticks .slider-item {
        margin-bottom:
0px;
    }

    .inserted-tick, .inserted-tick2 {
        position: absolute;
        top: 20%;
        height:
15px;
        width: 4px;
        margin-top: -5px;
        margin-left: -1px;
        background-color: #DDDDDD;
        background-color: black;
    }

    .inserted-tick .tick-text {
        position: absolute;
        top:
100%;
        width: 100px;
        margin-left: -50px;
        color: #000000;
        text-align: center;
    }

Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless
