LimeSurvey Admin and Active Surveys are Super Slow was created by test_user_4
Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: LimeSurvey Community Edition Version 5.2.7+211221
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own server, hosted on HostGator
Survey theme/template: Vanilla
==================
Hi, I am a new user to LimeSurvey.
This is a fresh installation of the LimeSurvey community edition on a hosted server. We built out a simple(ish) survey with 47 questions. The admin interface for managing and developing the survey is super slow. It takes about 20 seconds up to one minute for any operation to complete, including but not limited to, loading a quesiton, adding options to a question, loading an 'inactive' survey for testing, loading an active survey. This is making it difficult to program and test and preventing us from deploying the survey.
Any suggestions on how we can increase the performance? I assume this is not typical.
Also note, I saw this ticket and used webpagetest to load. I don't think this is related to the connectivity. It is a general problem.
Best,
esurface

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

This sounds like a problem with your hoster, because I can not confirm this type of slowness.
Are we talking about a dedicated server, a vserver or about shared hosting with HostGator?

To spun up a Bitnami LimeSurvey Amazon Machine Image for AWS you would need to use AWS as hosting environment.
