Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: 5.2.9+220110
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own
Theme: Extends Vanilla

==================

Is anyone experiencing the following issue in 5.2.x when they edit an existing participant and press "Save and Close"?

Page displays the script parameter (below) instead of redirecting to the participants main page

{"ajaxHelper":true,"success":"The survey participant was successfully updated.","result":null,"error":null,"loggedIn":true,"hasPermission":true,"noPermissionText":"No permission"}

A version of this error seems to have been reported in the past in 3.x but wasn't replicable:
bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=14831

NB, this only happens when editing an existing participant (for example, add the participant details, hit save, then hit save and close)

I have LS logging enabled and PHP logging but no additional errors are reported.

A 3.x install on the same server does not have the same bug.

I test on last git version, create dummyè token with or without extra attributes

I test with click on save or enter in input : seems OK …

Thanks Dennis. Is there any way this could be a file or folder permission issue?

I recently had to rollback the entire cpanel account and had to recreate 2-3 folders in uploads and temp (set to 755) because LimeSurvey couldn't seem to create them.

Could there be a file or folder somewhere missing that could account for this?
