After today's update, I noticed that the inline editor became unusable. All I get is an endless loading (I'd like to add a screenshot, but I don't see that option here). Anyone with the same problem?

Thanks in advance.

Please do not post the same question twice. I'll delete the second post.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

I did not just clear the cache (twice), but I tried another browser as well.

A relevant question by an ignorant:
Is there any specific PHP setting or any specific Global setting from within LimeSurvey, to make the inline editor work?

You can set the editor type in the user profile settings.

Thanks, but what user profile settings? I don't see such an option in LimeSurvey. The configuration menu does not seem to provide such an option.

Of course it does. Go to the top right corner of your Limesurvey admin, you'll see your user name, click on it and you get 2 options: "My Account" and "Log out"

Go into "My Account" --> "My personal settings" --> "HTML Editor Mode".

Thank you so much for your patience!

However, this did not fix the problem (it was already set "Inline html"). The latest update (Version 5.2.1, build 211111) fixed it instead.

In Global settings : www.limesurvey.org/manual/Global_settings/en
You have a Clear asset cache button, this force new generation of js and css file.

Please !: try it and see if it's fix your issue.

Thanks again. I used and the number in parentheses increased from 11 to 12:
Clear assets cache: (12)

Does this mean anything?

Besides, I accidentally found out that the options on the left column in "Configuration/Global survey" disappeared. Whom should I consult about this?

Anyway, the HTML editor reappeared and it seems that it works OK. Thanks again for your time.
