Version Update in Cloud

Hi,

I am using LimeSurvey Cloud with an "Expert" license/plan. Since I am using the LimeSurvey Cloud I have always assumed that my version was the latest. I was just made aware that this is not the case. The version that I have is 3.27.19, whereas others who now create an account with a "Free" plan use version 5.1.11.

My question is, how can I update my version in LimeSurvey Cloud? "ComfortUpdate" does not seem to be an option for the Cloud.

For anything that has to do with your Limesurvey Pro Account directly, please use the link that Denis gave you.

The forum is mainly run by volunteers and we have no insights into the servers and update policy of the Limesurvey GmbH who is responsible for the hosting of Limesurvey Pro. But they should be able to help you.

Anyway: LS 3.x is currently the Long Term Support version of Limesurvey, so it is not necessarily "older" or "worse". It just does not have all new features of LS 5.x but it is still up to date. I guess they are gradually updating/upgrading older installations. But they will tell you if you get in touch.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

Thank you Denis and Holch!

I will contact the support team directly next time. The reason why I posted a message in this thread in the forum was because I thought it was more of a user problem than an update policy of LimeSurvey GmbH. But, now I know.

If anyone is interested in this thread, this is the reply I got from customer support,

"We always have the LTS version on our cloud hosting and this is the reason you still have version 3.xx
However, in a few days, we are making the latest version the LTS version and there will be an upgrade button available for you to upgrade to LimeSurvey 5."

Hi,
The helpers on forum are Community version user , some Cloud user ask question, but answers come from Community version user. Rarely from cloud user and even more rarely by ls coud team.
