We just used the comfort update to update our limsurvey instance to v3. After the update was completed, every time somebody logs in, it does not take us to the admin page but just refreshes the login page. We tried this on Chrome and Firefox and also tried deleting all the data from the browser.
If your Limesurvey instance is running on .limequery.com it is actually on the SaaS service hosted by Limesurvey GmbH.
You should not be able to use Comfort-Update there, I think. Isn't that taken care of directly by them?
In any case, please open a support ticket with them. Here in the forum we are focused on the community edition and we have no insights on the SaaS-Service of Limesurvey GmbH works and runs.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
