Hi!
After updating my Mint Linux server to v20, MySQL was also updated and my LimeSurvey stopped working completely.  So, I decided to move to the newest lime survey software.  I downloaded the code, extracted it into /var/www/html/limesurvey.  Issued these commands:sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/html/limesurvey/
sudo chmod -R 755 /var/www/html/limesurvey/

Went to the URL showing the welcome page, clicked next to the license page, clicked next and got this:

syntax error, unexpected 'const' (T_CONST), expecting variable (T_VARIABLE)

I can normally figure these things out, but this one is a tough one. Any ideas?

I have PHP 7.4.3 installed and mysql v8.

BTW, this was on the newest v5.x version of Lime Survey. When I re-install the LTS version (3.x), the problem went away after enforcing mysql_native_password in mySQL. So, my survey server is back up, but I cannot use the latest 5.x version
