I developed a new question theme and want to install it in another instance of LimeSurvey.
How to upload it, since the page for managing question themes shows:

Question themes: Soon, here, you'll have the list of all question types, and all customed question types.
You'll be able to manage them like the Survey Themes (inheritance, theme editor, configuration at global/survey group/survey ; show/hide by survey group, etc)
Engine is already working, the interface will come very soon.

I know I can upload using FTP, but some of my customers do not know that or do not have permission to do that...

Only ready in 5.X
No solution (currently) in 3.X

Does this also mean that in LimeSurvey professional there is no way to upload question themes (yet)?

Does anyone know when this will be available in version 3? Will it become available in version 3?

I think there are a lack of "feature start in " in manual

I think this is a good question for the next developer meeting. Yesterday there was basically no question.

But to be honest, I highly doubt that it will ever come to LS 3.x. From what I understood, LS 3.x will only be supported until the end of the year and then will only receive security fixes.

Limesurvey GmbH seems to be slowly upgrading their clients to LS 5.

So I would not expect that this feature will make it into LS 3.x, which will be soon "abandoned".

That sounds like version 3.x where there is no GUI for importing question themes. The import feature was introduced in 4.x.

True, this is version 3. But there is no indication but "Soon". That is vague.

Better would be: "Beginning in version 5.1 you will be...."

Sure, maybe file a bug report?

Unfortunately this happened a couple of times already. The manual get's updated but instead of amending it and leaving old solutions, etc. it gets completely rewritten, despite 2-3 older generations of LS still being in use out there.

I think we need to be clearer on features and in which version they are available. I feel this worked better before.
