I'm setting up a survey and I want the users to register. But I have noticed that the firstname and lastname are not mandatory and there is no way to make them mandatory from the admin section. Also I want them to verify their email. I was going to disable registration and ask in the survey for the names I want to be mandatory. But that would disable email verification also.

in the "register_form.twig" you see these difference between "firstname", "lastname" and "email"
Add these two parts to "firstname" and "lastname" and all are required.
I have no clue how to insert an email vrification here.
If you ask these in your survey the email verification is quite simple.
Ask all these questions in an question of type "multiple short text" and do a validation like
Q1_SQ003.NAOK==Q1_SQ004.NAOK"
