1. Stable (LTS) Release 3.25.20
2. Unstable Release 4.4.15
and
3. Development Release 4.4.0-RC4

Do you know from where to download 4.4? Is it stable release? 

Should I download Master branch from  github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey ?

Best : 3.25.20, but no dowgrade. If you can start agaoin from 0
Else : 4.4.15 is far more better than 4.3

To start I tell you that there is no version 4.4.
If we talk about 4.4. we talk about all the releases 4.4.x.
At the moment the actual version ist 4.4.15.

To be more detailled:
The very first release of the 3.x. branch started on 28th of december, 2017 with version 3.0.0. replacing the 2.50/2.73 branch.
Till now we got a lot of changes of minor release number and the patch number, that at the moment the actual release is 3.25.20

The same with version 4.x.
Starting on 15th january, 2020 with version 4.0.0. we have now - after a lot of updates, patches, fixes - the actual version 4.4.15
Your version (4.3.34) was release on 18th of january, 2021 and there were 16 updates till now.
But as you saw, this 4.x. version is still declared "unstable"
