Hi! If you go the first page of this active survey, you will see that the checkboxes are now on their own line instead of in-line with the answers. This problem happened after an update. Can you suggest how to fix this? Is there something to fix in the template?

Thanks!!!!

Hi,

This problem happened after an update

An update to a more than three years old version???

And you are awre that with version 2.50 there was a change of framework from jquery-ui to bootstrap?

Since LimeSurvey 2.50, the theme engine use Bootstrap 3 as CSS framework. Bootstrap 3 being a standard framework, developers will find a lot of documentation, tutorials and forum threads about it on Internet.

Simple: The templates (now called themes) are not compatible.

A quick fix for this could be
Code:
.label-text.label-clickable {display:inline;}

Thanks Joffm! I'm a user (who can understand a little about programming), not a web developer, and we've use limesurvey for many many years instead of something like survey monkey because I like having something with more features. I installed it through softalicious and sometimes click to update if I notice a security problem is being addressed, and sometimes that gets me into trouble.
I really appreciate your suggestion and would like to try it. Can you tell me which file I should edit to look for or insert that line? I did some grepping and didn't find an obvious place. Thanks!

First you should put it into the question text (source code mode),
of course with surrounding <style>...</style> tags.

If it works you may put it at the end of the "template.css" (without the tags).

But I only tried this in the webdevelopment tool of the browser. Easy to understand, we do not have the survey nor the template.

So, if it doesn't work: As said; templates of version 2.05/2.06 are no compatible with version 2.50/2.73 nor with versioons 3.x, 4.x

You should not run such an old version of Limesurvey, especially as this branch is not supported anymore.

You should consider upgrade to to the latest LS 3.x (LS4 is still not stable). Unfortunately, your old theme/template will not work there anymore.
