After proceeding with the last update of Limesurvey (3.25.12), the platform behaves is very slow, mainly DB queries, for example, authentication, survey list, save configuration. On the same server I have version 3.15.1 working without problems.

Ubuntu 16 LTS is EndOfLife in April 2021. The latest release is 16.04.7.
I'm surprised that you can run LimeSurvey on php 7.0.32-0ubuntu0.16.04.1.

I still recommend to open a bugticket. The performance issue can be a bug in LimeSurvey, but without PHP 7.3 you will run into more issues over time.

Sill strange it happen between 3.25.11 to 3.25.12 … I don't think we have a lot of SQL between both.

Maybe you have Auditlog activated ? It's a SQL killer …
