Resume later: 500 error (record can't be inserted into database) was created by phoebus
I've set up a survey on my own server that allows for respondents to save and return later.

While the Save your unfinished survey page displays fine, on hitting "Save now" I get:"500: Internal Server ErrorThe active record cannot be inserted to database because it is not new.An internal error occurred while the Web server was processing your request.Please contact Administrator to report this problem."

I thought I had my email SMTP and IMAP set up correctly, though I see no option in LimeSurvey to check this. I am on Version 4.4.1+210201.

I am on Version 4.4.1+210201.

You are on a version that is labled "unstable", so bugs and errors are not suprise.

Please update to the latest release of your branch (today this would be "Unstable Release 4.4.6") and see if this problem persists.

If so, please make a bug report.

Only this way LS 4.x can become stable - A bug not reported is a bug not fixed.
Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
