End a survey on Yes/No question was created by Dinamicore
Hello:
Already searched all the relevant posts; no chance to reply, as TOPICS are locked.
Using LS version Versión 4.3.15+200907
I am using the quote = 0 feature to end a survey with a Yes/No question. Nevertheless, this keeps the system from delivering the "thank you for taking the survey" email at the end of process.
Anyway workaround to send this last email?
Thanks

Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi,
in my opinion this is absolutely correct behaviour.
You use the quota to screen out people
It is different if you only want to skip some last questions, because they are not relevant if somebody answers "No".
Like:
"Do you own a car?" Yes-No
The next questions about the car are skipped if you do not own one.
Here you use relevance equation but not a quota (People can complete the survey regardless of whether they own a car)
So, what is your goal in this?
If you really want to send an email to screened out people you might adapt the email template and use micro-tayloring
{IF(Q1=="Y","You answered YES in this question","You answered NO in this question")}
meaning you display the text according to the answer.
And as I said before you use relevance equation to skip the not relevant questions.

- because the quota is full already
- because they do not belong to the target group

I think Dinamicore doesn't want them to receive the confirmation email, which make sense. They did not complete the survey. A screen out / or a quota does not result in a completed survey thus they should not receive a confirmation email.
As I never use confirmation emails, I can't tell if this was normal behaviour before or something that came in with LS 4.x.

Potential issue in 4.X
You see the quota message ?
If you can reproduce with a one question survey : please report.

Thank you all for your responses.
Quit using quota feature for this; to solve my requierement, instead used ARRAY (F) as question type, setting YES/NO as answer options, and using conditional logic.
This way I do receive the "thank you" email at the end of survey.
