There were no eligible emails to send was created by MooMarc
Hello,
I'm getting this error when trying to send survey invitations (to myself, currently testing the survey).
These 4 criteria are however satisfied. What else could be the problem? Can it be the LimeSurvey installation? If so, what should I ask the IT guys to check?
Thanks!
I'm getting this error when trying to send survey invitations (to myself, currently testing the survey).
I'm on Version 2.63.1+170305 (because my university is slow).Warning
There were no eligible emails to send. This will be because none satisfied the criteria of:
having a valid email address
not having been sent an invitation already
not having already completed the survey
having a token
These 4 criteria are however satisfied. What else could be the problem? Can it be the LimeSurvey installation? If so, what should I ask the IT guys to check?
Thanks!

How were the emails created? In the backend, one by one? Or via CSV upload?
What is the email status? I remember that there was some issue with some versions of Limesurvey were when creating the participant, the some status was wrong or empty and thus the contacts were not elegible for sending.

Jokes aside, they are running a 3,5 year old software on the internet, no updates made since then. They are not even at the latest version of this branch (somewhere at 2.7x this branch ended - it is not supported anymore). And this in times of data protection laws getting tougher and tougher, at least for GDPR this is for sure not a good argument when a data breach happens. Difficult to argue that you (and the university) have done everything possible to protect the data.
But: Do NOT update to LS 4.x at the moment.

Thanks for the quick reply. Indeed, I found that emailstatus was the problem. I had added some "test participants" manually and those had the email address instead of "OK".
Cheers!
