Invalid default template directory

Invalid default template directory was created by Limesurvey_Forum
Hello everyone,

we recently noticed that we cannot access some of our older surveys. Most surveys stil function just fine, but not all of them. It appears that some templates are missing/not working, though, I do not know why or how to fix it.

The error warning is atteched - maybe some of you have an idea how to address the issue.

Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.

In the template manager I see that the template, which allegedly causes the error (LimeSurvey Fruity Theme) is installed. But there is no error warning or anything.

Version is: Version 4.3.8+200803

Tried the following...

... accessing the template (the standard fruity template) but did not change anything since the template seems to work for all other surveys.

... changing the template from fruity to vanilla in the survey itself, however, the change is not saved.

So I am not really sure what the problem is. Thanks for your help!

It should be noted that 4.x is not stable for production yet but try upgrading to the latest 4.x release.
